On July 4th, 2013, a book was released that gave voice to the legacy and contribution of the Morgan Horse in a way that had never been done before. Now, with the America’s Own Library Initiative, you can make your voice heard by supporting the effort to put America’s Own in every public library in America… and continue to spread the word about this remarkable breed and its even more remarkable story.
Your donation puts two copies of America’s Own: A Celebration of America and Its Horse into your library(ies) of choice and into the eager hands of a generation ready to learn of the true service and sacrifice of our country’s first native breed of horse. Join us in our efforts to preserve the past, present, and future of the Morgan, and in this celebration of America and its horse.
The Morgan Horse Heritage Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-for-profit organization founded in 2005 that is dedicated to educating the public about the Morgan Horse and to protect and preserve the history of the Morgan Horse in a Vermont Museum. With a passion for promoting the legacy of the Morgan Horse that is shared with the America’s Own team, the MHHF agreed to support the America’s Own Library Initiative to put America’s Own in every public library in America.
